NewWorld is offering a webinar program on environmental technologies led by Lou Schick, our Chief Technology Officer, starting with a session on Future Development of the Smart Grid on Tuesday, October 11th, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm EDT.

Our purpose is to explore interesting issues of environmental technology from both a technology and a business perspective, helping participants acquire general knowledge on where the technology stands today and is headed.  Many of the subjects are broad and complex, so Lou will provide an overview and then delve into selected issues.

We plan sessions on the following topics during the remainder of the year: 

• Nanotechnology and Environmental Products (October 25th).
• Air Pollution Control Technologies for Power Generation (November 8th).
• Water Efficiency and Pollution Abatement Technologies (industrial supply, treatment, reuse, disposal) (November 29th).
• Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment (envelopes, mechanicals, processes) (December 13th).  

A new set of topics for the first six months of 2012 will be announced later this year.
